Unbelievable...

We just did the craziest thing.

We actually sought out the company of our 4 & 6 year old neighbor kids. We spent time with them, cheered them on, & actually hugged them when we left.

Oh, yes...there was a motive. There was definitely a motive.

We're hoping to achieve this:

The above photo was taken after a Sunday afternoon playdate with 7 other dogs in our backyard. That's what it took to stop Hurricane Truvy. We don't have those resources available tonight, so....

Desperate times called for desperate measures.

We hope it worked...but she just grabbed a coffee cup.

Out of our kitchen sink.

Fuck.

how in the world are you going to be able to tolerate Truvy . . . she has driven you to entertain kids!!!!

on a different note, hell called and needs a match . . .

I think you just re-defined desperate measures...

Kids? Like young goats? Or real life young humans? I didn't recall reading in the paper that hell froze over.....
:)

OK, I'm assuming a drive to good ole NOCO is more desireable than repeating this, so next time you're this desperate, feel free to call me. Layla is always, always, always ready to play. Even if she's worn out, she finds energy (ask the DeBarr's!) so she can always use a playdate.

In the meantime, I'll have to check all my normal assumptions of life and make sure they are correct.... is the sky still blue? Can chickens fly yet???

Wow. Desperate indeed. I didn't think a puppy would make you a baby lover...we may need to rethink this relationship. :)

She's really something. And your experience has further solidified my dedication to only adopting full grown dogs. Man, I love my Tedders.

It's really come to this?!?! Wow. Next time can you just release her into their backyard or something less hands on?
